Once I discovered keto, I was able to lose 40lbs in 8 months and maintained that for 2 years. I am totally in love with food and after a while, keto started to feel a bit too restrictive for me long term. It seemed so black and white - you’re either keto or you’re not, and that only reinforced my “all-or-nothing” mentality just like all the other diets I tried in the past.
Now I’ve achieved harmony in my keto lifestyle that incorporates carbs from time to time. It allows me to enjoy all the foods that I love, while maintaining my weight loss with ease.

I’ll admit that I made some mistakes, and gained some weight back at first. But I’m happy I did. It gave me feedback so I could truly heal my thoughts around food and my body. And allowed me to figure out how I was going to make keto work for me long term.
